Frequently Asked Questions

I offer individual therapy for adults via telehealth. Each session is personalized to you — your story, your goals, and your pace. Whether you are navigating a difficult life transition, struggling with anxiety or depression, processing grief or trauma, or simply ready to better understand yourself, individual therapy provides a dedicated space that is entirely yours to explore, heal, and grow.
-
If you have been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like something just isn't quite right — therapy might be exactly what you need. You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many of my clients come to me simply because they are ready to better understand themselves, develop healthier coping strategies, or work through a difficult season of life. If you are curious, that curiosity alone is a great place to start.
-
Your first session is really about getting to know each other. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you're hoping to work on, and what your life looks like right now. It's also a great opportunity for you to ask me any questions and get a feel for whether we're a good fit. There's no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with — we move at your pace, always.

All sessions at The Grace & Growth Collective are conducted virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. All you need is a private space, a reliable internet connection, and a phone, tablet, or computer. Once you're scheduled, you'll receive a link to join your session — it's simple, convenient, and just as effective as in-person therapy.
-
Research consistently shows that telehealth therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for most mental health concerns. Many clients actually find that being in their own comfortable environment helps them open up more easily. The most important factor in successful therapy is the relationship between you and your therapist — and that translates beautifully to the virtual space.
-
Just three things — a private, quiet space where you feel comfortable speaking freely, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone. That's it. I'll handle the rest.

Yes! I am currently in-network with Aetna, Meritain Health, Optum, Oscar Health, United Healthcare (UHC), United Medical Resources (UMR). If you have one of these plans, your sessions may be fully or partially covered depending on your individual benefits. I recommend contacting your insurance provider ahead of your first session to understand your specific coverage.
-
No problem. I welcome self-pay clients at a rate of $150 per session. I also provide superbills — detailed receipts you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. I encourage you to call your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
-
I accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards, through my secure client portal. Payment is due at the time of service.

Most clients begin with weekly sessions, which allows us to build momentum and establish a strong foundation early on. As you progress and your needs evolve, we may adjust the frequency together. Ultimately, the schedule that works best is one we'll figure out as a team.
-
I ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee. I completely understand that life happens — if something comes up, please reach out as soon as possible and we'll do our best to find a solution.
-
That truly depends on you, your goals, and the challenges you are working through. Some clients find what they need in a focused short-term period of a few months, while others benefit from longer-term ongoing support. We will regularly check in on your progress and adjust our work together based on what feels right for you.
-
Absolutely. Everything you share in our sessions is completely confidential. As a licensed therapist, I am bound by strict ethical and legal standards to protect your privacy. There are a small number of exceptions required by law — such as if there is an imminent risk of harm to yourself or others — which I will explain in detail during our first session and in your intake paperwork.
