If you have one of these plans, your sessions may be fully or partially covered depending on your individual benefits. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly before your first session to understand your coverage. Here are a few helpful questions to ask:
Do I have mental health benefits?
What is my deductible, and has it been met?
What is my copay or coinsurance for outpatient telehealth therapy?
-
Don't see your insurance listed? You may still be able to use your benefits. As a courtesy, I provide superbills — detailed receipts of services rendered — that you can submit directly to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Reimbursement rates vary by plan, so I recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits before getting started.
-
For clients without insurance coverage or those who prefer to pay out of pocket, my self-pay rate is $150 per session.
Choosing self-pay comes with a few distinct advantages:
Greater privacy — no diagnosis required for insurance billing
More flexibility in the focus and length of our work together
No need to navigate insurance approvals or referrals
-
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept all major credit and debit cards, HSA, and FSA cards through my secure client portal.
